Hi, I am Dr. Tracy Karlinger-Smith -- the owner and only veterinarian of Chase Memorial Veterinary Hospital. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1995 with my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (I also did my undergraduate work there). After a year in the small town of Copperas Cove, I moved to Austin. Aside from a year and a half in Maryland, I have been here ever since. The time in Maryland was great because I got to see a lot of exotic pets -- including hamsters, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, ferrets - and expand my knowledge of them. I love working with the exotics as well as cats and dogs. I also really enjoy client education -- what can I teach you about your pet's health? I believe that our pets are our "other kids" and treat them as such.

Rebecca moved to Texas 7 years ago from California. She is currently studying to be an ultrasound technician at ACC. When she is not at Chase Memorial or in class, Rebecca likes spending all her free time with her husband and two "kids"/Dogs. Benjamin is a 2 year old terrier mix who thinks the best place in the world is on Momma's lap. Gizmo is a 6 month old pembrooke welsh corgi who wants to be a pro wrestler when he grows up, at least that is how he acts when he is playing with Daddy.

Summer has been in the field for over 4 years. She has been in Austin since pre-school and has had a love for animals her whole life. Summer has quite a collection of pets at home with a Rottweiler named "Lucky", two Pitbull brothers named "Beau" & "Boss", and a Chihuahua named "Cheech" who runs the house. And we can't forget the cat -"Mister" who thinks he is a dog.
